The Vice Chairman, Lagelu Local Government, and the political head of Lagelu North LCDA, Hon. Sadiq. O. Raji, have sent greetings to constituents of Lagleu Local Government, Nigerians in general, and Muslims in particular, as they commence the month-long Ramadan fast.
In a message from his media office, Hon. Sadiq. O. Raji’s greetings followed the sighting of the lunar month of Ramadan.
He called for the continued peace, progress, and prosperity of the Lagelu Local Government and the country at large.
According to the Hon. Sadiq, Islam is a religion of peace that upholds the values of tolerance and mutual coexistence without a place for hatred and violence.
He, therefore, urged Muslims to use the period to build relationships of friendship and harmony with fellow citizens of other faiths.
Hon. Sadiq prayed to Allah for the continued peace, progress, and well-being of the country.
