Master’s daughter, sales girl among victims
State govt raises the alarm, asks for public’s help
A randy teenage apprentice has allegedly impregnated 10 girls in just five months in Anambra State.
Some of the girls impregnated by the randy 18-year-old boy include his master’s daughter and a salesgirl.
It was gathered that when the teenager was first sent to learn a trade under a master, within three months, he impregnated both his boss’s daughter and a salesgirl.
This resulted in his dismissal by his master.
Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo, raised the alarm over the development in a live video on social media on Wednesday.
The commissioner said following the boy’s dismissal, he returned to his village, where he impregnated eight other girls within two months.
Obinabo said, “I want advice from the public because this one is beyond my capacity.
“This boy was sent to learn a trade at the age of 18 and three months of apprenticeship, and he impregnated his master’s daughter and his salesgirl. He was sent packing. Two months after that, he impregnated eight other girls in the village.”
According to the commissioner, the boy’s mother brought his matter to the attention of her office by making a formal report.
Quoting the randy teenager’s mother, Obinabo said, “‘Anytime I see a girl coming towards our house nowadays, my heart jumps. Please, I need help.
“This matter is beyond me; the reason I want the public to help me come up with a solution. Is it spiritual?”
She said she interrogated the boy on how he was able to convince the girls to allow him to sleep with them.
Obinabo added, “I asked the boy the magic he uses in luring the girls to bed, but he told me he always tells them that he loves them and would like to marry them any time he acquires wealth.
“This problem is beyond me because of the boy’s age and the number of pregnant girls involved; that’s why I need help to solve it.”
The commissioner refrained from identifying the randy teenager, his mother, or their community.
She however, appealed to the public to suggest ways to handle the randy teenager’s case.
