Advocating for peace during elections is essential for promoting a stable and democratic environment,by promoting respectful dialogue, condemning violence, and supporting electoral institutions
Global Network of African Elites (GNAE) is calling on the Ivorians to embrace peace during the election, which has been scheduled for October 2025.
In a press statement signed by Acting Secretary General GNAE (RMEA), Mrs. Kouakou Akissi Wife N’GUESSAN and received by Dotloive News Magazine.
The statement reads with a title: “Together, let’s protect our future by cultivating “peace”—GNAE’ powerful call to the Ivorian nation
“In this crucial electoral period for Ivory Coast, the GNAE Humanitarian and Development Organisation (Réseau Mondial des Élites Africaines) is boldly and clearly positioning itself as a committed actor and tireless promoter of peace, social cohesion, and sustainable stability.
Through its national awareness campaign, GNAE sends out a heartfelt appeal to the Ivorian conscience, delivering a powerful message: “Together, let’s protect our future by cultivating peace!”
When the electoral climate becomes a test of democratic maturity
Every election season is a moment of truth for a nation. In Ivory Coast, the stakes are high: political stability, national unity, social peace, and community cohesion. But this sensitive moment is also an opportunity to demonstrate that we have matured, that we have learned from the past.
It is within this context that GNAE rises as a civic watchtower and guardian of peace, reminding everyone that the true victory is not winning power through the ballot box — but the triumph of living together in tolerance, dialogue, and mutual respect.
A campaign to raise awareness, unite, and build
Driven by its mobilising slogan—”Together”, let’s protect our future by cultivating “peace!”—the GNAE campaign is more than a simple call: It is a cry from the heart to preserve our national heritage, safeguard our democratic achievements, and continue to build a strong, peaceful, and prosperous country for future generations.
Through strong and inclusive messages, GNAE reaches out:
- To political leaders: “Speak to unite, not to divide. Reject hate. Reject fear.”
- To community and religious leaders: “Be bridges of reconciliation, builders of unity.”
- To the Ivorian youth: “Refuse to be manipulated. Be guardians of peace, messengers of hope.”
- To all citizens: “Let your voices reflect reason, and your choices reflect wisdom.”
Local peace, global impact
GNAE’s message goes beyond national borders. It draws inspiration from global peace struggles, from the legacy of icons like Nelson Mandela, from the UN Resolution 1325 recognising the role of women in peacebuilding, and from post-conflict reconciliation experiences such as Rwanda.

Peace in Ivory Coast is a seed for peace in Africa, and a vital contribution to global stability.
A prosperous country as our legacy
To those who see peace as abstract, GNAE responds with pragmatism: A stable country attracts investors. A united nation guarantees development. A youth at peace is a national treasure. Above all, a people who cultivate peace secure a safe, dignified, and prosperous future.

True patriotism today means refusing hate, denouncing divisive rhetoric, and firmly committing to the country’s stability.
GNAE is not offering a simple campaign. It is offering a vision: Ivory Coast at peace with itself, proud of its diversity, rich in unity, and strong in its youth.
Let’s not let our future fall victim to the angers of the present. Let us cultivate peace, starting today.
