Hon. Arafat Adedeji
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the 2027 general election in Ibadan North East constituency II in the State house of assembly. Hon. Arafat Adedeji has promised a better life for less privileged, widows, and widowers in her constituency in particular and Oyo State in general through developmental legislation and projects.
Arafat made this promise while receiving her certificate of participation and return at the SDP state secretariat from the party executive at a colourful ceremony recently.
Arafat who was accompanied to the ceremony by top party members and well-wishers in her constituency also promised on socio developmental project that would impact positive on the people like health care centres, erosion control drainage, Solar light and soft loans for traders without interest rates, education support and empowerment for the less priviledged, widows, widowers and job opportunites for youths if voted in as a member of the state house of assembly in 2027.
The aspirant who also met with the people of Agodi, idi-oro community called for their support in the 2027 election and she promised not to let them down.
In response, party faithful members from Agodi Idi-oro community spoke well of Hon. Arafat Adedeji’s good character and upbringing which stands her out and implored her to keep her words if voted into the state house of assembly as the only female aspirant in her constituency.
Present at the occasion were top party members and community leaders which include Mr. Mojeed Mukale, SDP Chair, Ibadan North East LG, Mrs. Bukola Tijani, SDP woman leader, Mr Charles, Mr.Taiwo Olaitan Anthony, Mr. Yinka Odulami, SDP Ward 9, Wasiu Olabamiji, Ward 8, Akeem Owoseni, Organising secretary.
Others are Tahatu Ademuyiwa, Ward 7 chairman, Kazeem Mogaji, Rev. Abiodun Oderinde. Agodi idi-oro Community Development Association Chairman, Elder Joseph Akinade and other well-wishers.
