Akinbo Reveals How Much Strippers Earn at Lagos Clubs
Lagos socialite Tosin Akinbo has given an insight into the impressive amount of money some strippers can make in a single night at popular Lagos clubs.
Speaking during an interactive session with the TalkYourTalk Podcast, Akinbo discussed the nightlife industry and revealed that stripping can be one of the most lucrative jobs in Lagos, particularly when it comes to money sprayed on performers.
According to him, one stripper once told him she made as much as ₦1 million in a single Sunday night simply from money sprayed on her.
“Stripping is one of the highest-paying jobs in Lagos. A stripper once came to me and said, ‘OMG, your Sunday night is so lit, I literally earned ₦1 million from spraying.’”
Akinbo also clarified what happens to the money sprayed on the strippers. He explained that the club does not take a percentage of it, meaning the performers keep everything sprayed on them.
“No, anything sprayed on them belongs to them, not the club,” he said, adding that strippers who are exclusive to a club may also receive a monthly salary on top of whatever they make from spraying.
